CAC is a Jefferson county public charter school that feels like a private school. Our intentionally small class sizes allow our teachers to provide each student with an individualized learning experience, meeting each student where they are at in their educational journey.

Collegiate Academy is tuition-free for Kindergarten through 12th grade. While our private Preschool program does charge monthly tuition, rates are competitive with other local options. We proudly partner with UPK and CCCAP to help make preschool affordable for all families. K-12 students may be responsible for standard school fees, but no monthly tuition is charged.

Yes, students in grades PK-6 wear uniforms to foster a professional, focused learning environment. Students in 7-12 follow a professional dress code.

Our program immerses students in Colorado’s outdoors, blending hands-on outdoor skills—like navigation, alpine ecology, and survival techniques—with rigorous academic coursework. Through expeditions, participants learn and build resilience, leadership, and environmental stewardship in a challenging, real-world classroom.
